4x4 "20 Poorts and Passes Tour" - Itinerary
In the Winter months (June to August) Andrew and Nell host and guide the 4×4 “20 Poorts and Passes Tour” from the Eastern Cape to the Klein Karoo. The Tour can accommodate 5 couples with 4×4 vehicles.
Meet in the Eastern Cape, Oyster Bay. Dinner and Sleep.
Leave for Baviaanskloof, Explore and Lunch in Baviaans, Sleep in Baviaans.
Explore and Lunch in Baviaans, Exit Park, Afternoon drinks in Willowmore, Sleep outside Willowmore.
Leave Willowmore, Take the Prince Alfred Pass down to Knysna, Drinks at Angies G-Spot, Lunch in Knysna, Sleep in Knysna forest.
Leave Knysna, Travel via 7 Passes road to George, from George take the Montagu Pass (World Heritage Site) to Oudtshoorn and Calitzdorp. Lunch at Karooboom, Sleep in Calitzdorp.
From Calitzdorp explore the Rooibergpass (World Heritage Site). Lunch at De Krans. Afternoon Girls do Nells “Lessons I Learnt from Lasagne”, Boys go booze tasting.
From Calitzdorp explore the Seweweekspoort and Boschluys Kloof passes with lunch in Seweweeks Poort. Relaxed Afternoon.
Packup from Calitzdorp and proceed via the Swartberg Pass (World Heritage Site) to Klaarstroom for overnight.
Depart Klaarstroom onto the N1, N9 or N12 for home.
